tERMS AND CONDITIONS

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending Bake Fest, you and any guests you purchase tickets for acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

Updated: 09/08/2025

1. Event Purpose

This is an exciting, community-led gathering celebrating friendship, family, and a mutual love of cake. All attendees agree to participate in the spirit of shared enjoyment and celebration.

2. Cake Quality

Attendees can be as creative as they want with flavours, fillings and decorations! (We love to be inspired!)

3. Cake Requirement (One Per Person)

Entry to the event requires one whole cake per person (minimum 6 inches in diameter). A ticket alone does not grant access—every individual with a paid ticket must bring their own cake to be admitted.

4. Food Handling & Safety

All cakes should be prepared and transported safely and in a way that prevents spoilage or contamination. Any perishable ingredients (e.g. dairy or fresh fruit) should be kept refrigerated before the event.

5. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Attendees with allergies or dietary needs participate at their own risk, consuming food made by other attendees. All cakes must be clearly labeled with common allergens (e.g. nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs) and alcohol. The organisers assume no liability for allergic or adverse reactions, or foodborne illness.

6. Waste Management

All attendees are responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including removing any rubbish and taking all belongings. We ask all participants to help keep Cassiobury Park clean by picking up any litter in their vicinity.

7. Location

Bake Fest have the right to change the location of the event, at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Any changes to location will be confirmed via email.

8. Pets

No pets or dogs are allowed at the event.

9. Required Materials for Entry

To participate in Bake Fest, each attendee must bring:

• A valid ticket (printed or digital)

• A whole cake with a clear allergen label (one per paid ticket)

• A cake server or knife

Attendees will not be able to participate if they fail to bring all of the above items.

10. Refunds & Cancellations

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or cancellations will be issued.

11. Disclaimer of Liability

By attending Bake Fest, you agree that participation is entirely at your own risk. The organisers are not responsible for any injury, illness (including but not limited to allergic reactions or foodborne illness), loss, or damage to personal property that may occur as a result of attendance at this event. Attendees are fully responsible for their own health and safety throughout the event.

12. Photography & Media Use

By attending Bake Fest, you consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken at the event—featuring cakes, attendees, or background scenes—for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website content, and future marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in published media, please inform a member of the event team upon arrival.

13. EVENT TIMING

All attendees must be onsite and registered by 1:30pm. Any attendees after this time will not be able to participate at the event. This ensures a smooth check-in process and allows all cakes to be properly displayed and shared.

14. WEATHER CONTINGENCY

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priority. In the event of adverse or unforeseen weather conditions, we may need to cancel or change the location of the event. If this is required, we will notify you as early as possible and no later than 72 hours before the scheduled start time.
